Soma conducted a pre- research , concept & methodology workshop for the Uliza Wahenga Dada shortlisted artists.
The training focused on the whys and hows of feminist storytelling; why the Swahili cost and multidisciplinary, participatory research methods which lend themselves to feminist ethos and researching for creative expression/as storytellers. The end game for this stage is to enable artists to review their concepts ahead of submission to a panel of judges.
