Stark Mc Clellan is nicknamed Stick because he’s tall and thin. He was born with only one ear. He can hear, but sound enters his head and sometimes jumbles his thoughts in strange- and unusual- ways.
Bosten is Stick’s older brother. Emily is Stick’s best friends. Paul is Bosten’s best friend. The Brothers love their friends, but their parents find out just how strong relationships are their current beatings will be much, much worse. And they are, Bosten leaves home and Stick steals their father’s car heads out to find his brother.
