Family Owned Businesses in Africa:Texts and Cases

The role of family-owned businesses and enterprises in African economic and social development can not be over-emphasized. So far there is limited research and documentation related to this phenomenon. This volume brings together research papers that seek to understand how in the African context family-owned businesses are developed and managed, and what forces are there that are inimical to or supportive of this category of enterprises.
