Feminist Her story Coalition National Convening

Readership for Learning and Development- Soma, launched her novel initiative–The Feminist Archive. With a working title Hadithi Zetu: Multimedia Feminist Storytelling, Documentation and Archiving, the process was soft launched during the 2019 Gender Festival, to bring key stakeholders on board, on 30^th Nov 2019, Soma hosted a follow up convening co-convened with Tanzania Gender Networking Program (TGNP)and Women Fund Tanzania (WFT) organized . The convening was meant to further elaborate the state of the art in use of creative and multimedia tools and media to communicated and archive women’s stories in ways that are easily accessible to mainstream audiences and populate the mainstream with feminist narratives. It also meant to identify and galvanize interest, support and ownership, the initiative’s processes and define their roles and benefits thereof. It was an insightful and very productive event.
