Book Discussion “If She Were Alive” 30 01 2020

On Thursday 30th January 2020 Taswira Met to discuss If She Were Alive authored by Lubacha Deus. The author interacted with readers, key question being what role does the author has in mirroring society–as a spectator or critique? Gender relations as per status quo and their possibility for transforming also came to the fore. All in all readers were happy to have a good read from one of their own and encouraged those with a writing inclination to not lose heart even as the publishing scene remains bleak.
